(he's been sick = been watching a bit of tv + ellen is funny. don't judge.)

sometimes i lose my phone

like everyday.

this is twice in two days.

i think i really lost it this time.

if anyone happens upon an orange

phone feel free to let me know.

no, it's not the one behind me on the counter.

(my buddy and i have matching phones. that's right.)

last night was went to the music man

(jason's sissie was in the high school musical.

she did so good and looked so darling.)

i brought mambas and bubble gum.

(because it's a 2 hour play)

and then i blew huge bubbles.

and jason shook his head.

a date

for the first time in a (very, very) long time jason and i went

on a date. with his (soon to be marriage) sister.

i have been dying (almost) to see 500 days of summer. from

the first preview is was bated. well. tonight we went to the $3

movie, got large popcorns + rootbeers and enjoyed ourselves

some summer. it was perfect. that movie is so quirky and off

and strange. i think it might be my favorite.

maybe it was the music that got me. (so fantastic.)

buy that soundtrack.

maybe i was just happy to be at the movies.

maybe it was just happy to be on a date.

we are out of school for a week for thanksgiving (thank

goodness sakes) it's heavenly. so happy for the break. so happy

to see family (specially those ones we don't get to see very

much – that might be everyone.) and go to a wedding (jason's

sissie) and so happy to eat delicious food until we're all the

way full. (but when we're full we'll stop. i hope.)

today i finished a project for photog and edited these beauties.

i like pickled beets

they are this amazing magenta color.

and they make a (pretty) healthy little snack.

i ate a few yesterday (and the day before).

and just a little word to those who eat

pickled beets (or would like to start) the

red color turns other things red too.

it's not you, it's the beets.

(and i thought i was dying.)

maybe i should just stick to candy.

it's safer.

by the way, another family session is up

on orchid. incase you wanted to know.

i do believe it's getting a bit too frosty

for many more sessions. too cold on the ears.

i like falling down houses

and alex and i did a photo shoot here.

it was exciting. and almost spooky.

it was also freezing.

and it was for a photog assignment.

jason's feeling better (i am tired of updates about being

sick. i bet you're tired of hearing it.) and he went to school

for the first time in like 2 weeks today. (not to worry, he's

super student. he'll bounce right back into action.)

remember when i fell in love with letterpress?

weeeell, i got a job working with letterpress!

can i just tell you how absolutely excited i am about this?

i will be working with an amazing designer, adrienne berry.

i had to twist his sick little arm (still getting over the hini.

yep. it got him. we were super sad.) it was for a photo

assignment. but i was pretty proud of my buddy and his

photographic skills. and can i just tell you how

chin-chilly it is out there now? wow-wee!

i really, really like fall.

back from art weekend.

it was so amazing. so amazing.

my pal al and i drove down to slc togetha and

ashley + jordy let us camp out at their humble

abode. (thanks a mil dudes you and your french

toast and homemade grape juice rock for real.)

nicole gerulat (from a little sussy) is so genuinely sweet

and unbelievably talented. we also took classes from

alma + mike loveland who were so awesome!

totally signing up for next time.

they will have the new schedg up in january.
