After a flat tire debacle on the evening of Wednesday July 3rd, and a sprint to the pharmacy to pick up an antibiotic with minutes to spare before closing time, and an all night drive to Idaho (I drove, Jas snoozed in the seat next to me. he did have a crazy week of tests and clinic)... we rolled into Idaho July 4th mid morning.
Napped a little bit in the afternoon—partied all night because that's what the 4th of July is made for!!!!
It might have been the quickest trip of our lives, but fireworks and my dad's fried chicken... worth it.
Summertime is never so sweet as 4th of July in Idaho. I swear it gets more beautiful every year.
Sparkly midnight kisses (this holiday is fixin to be most favorite).
Boom.

Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, too! Something about celebrating your country and your family and your love and food is just so good.
